Dedicated to helping you and your family have a close relationship with Jesus Christ through biblical teaching and warm Christian fellowship.
Studio GO! VBS proved to be action-packed this year. The cast of characters included Wade Winalot, and his cousin Vanna, Wrinkles, Coach Armstrong, and Professor Wordsmart. The kids learned to GO Lead, Go Risk, GO Tell, GO Obey, and GO Serve. The smiles on their faces are the perfect testimony to the huge blessing it was to go, go, go, Studio GO!

It\’s that time of year again, time for clam cakes and chowder! Rhode Island has had tons of rain this year, which in turn closes most of the beaches! If the beaches aren\’t open, you can\’t dig for clams. Despite this, we were blessed with plenty of clams to make more clamcakes and chowder than you can shake a water-logged stick at! We had loads of clam cakes, loads of chowder, loads of fun, and loads of laughter!

Our youth worked very hard on our Living Nativity this year, and they did a wonderful job re-enacting the events surrounding our Savior\’s birth. As you can see by the smiling faces, it was a blast.
The beautiful set was the work of our very own Mr. Warner.
Following the Living Nativity, we had a delicious ham and turkey dinner during which time the stable remained a popular place for the kids. It is said that children do well in a stable environment.
Sometimes the youth have to have fun in preparation for having more fun. With the fall festival coming up, there are plenty of pinatas needing to be made. You can\’t break pinatas if you don\’t make pinatas (unless you buy them, but that\’s not fun). So in preparation for this year\’s harvest party, the church\’s youth made the pinatas out of paper mache last month, and painted them this month! Every pinata is a common item that might be found in a cornucopia. See if you can guess which one is which.

What better day to celebrate the 7th anniversary of Beacon Free Will Baptist Church than with the baptism of 2 new believers! Cullen and Phillip both recently professed a saving faith in Jesus Christ. The chose to display this saving faith to the world in one of their first public acts of faith; baptism.

This year\’s harvest party was definitely one to remember. We had lots of familiar faces from church and various activities throughout the year, as well as some new ones! The kids enjoyed destroying the pinatas they worked so hard to make and decorate in the previous months, but the candy reward in the end made all the effort worth it! See if you can find the new faces this year in the pictures below!

The Good Lord has blessed us with 7 wonderful years as a church family. It all started with the Reynolds family and Mrs. Newman meeting together, and the church has grown to a larger and larger family. We were blessed with record attendance for our 7th anniversary, and look forward to continued growth in the years to come!
